Think Cinco de Mayo or Mother's Day are the next big holidays coming up? Well, you're wrong and The Force may not be strong with you. Star Wars Day, an unofficial geek-holiday, is coming up this Monday. Any fan worth their weight in republic credits has to celebrate May The Fourth in style and thankfully there are some ways to do just that coming up soon. To Celebrate May The Fourth Be With You 2015, local businesses are hosting Star Wars-themed events that would make a Chewie growl with anticipation.

May the Fourth Star Wars Celebraton At The Korova

The Korova will be hosting a free marathon of five Star Wars films. They will be providing full bar service starting at noon along with food like hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, pickles and candy to replicate the movie-going experience inside the club. Did you notice that only five of the movies would be screened? Mercifully, the Korova will not be showing The Phantom Menace because mixing alcohol with Jar Jar Binks is a recipe for disaster. The movies will be screened in "machete" order, attempting to frame the stories of Attack of The Clones and Revenge of the Sith as flashbacks from Darth Vader's perspective. This means Episode IV and Episode V will be screened first and second. Once Vader reveals he is Luke Skywalker's father in The Empire Strikes Back the screening will switch to Vader's view of things in Episode II and Episode III concluding with Return of the Jedi at midnight. If you're hung over the next day at work just remember: You at least get to wake up after a night of Star Wars related fun, the poor unsuspecting folks on Alderaan don't get that privilege.

Not feeling social? Want to stay in a galaxy far, far away from others but still want to get in on the celebration from the safety of your own home? Here are a few things you should be doing on May The Fourth should you decide to stay in.

Watch the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Trailer 100 More Times

You don't have to be shy about it, we know you contributed heavily to The Force Awakens' 80+ million YouTube trailer views. You might be thinking to yourself, why should I watch it again? Well, because its Star Wars day and it would be downright criminal to not look forward on what lies ahead of the franchise. December 18 is still so far away so you have got to get your Star Wars fix somehow. The Force Awakens isn't the only thing to get excited about later this year...

Check Out The Debut Of The Star Wars: Battlefront Game Trailer

If you are one of the millions of Star Wars fans who wishes they could have the powers of a Jedi or Sith just for one day, you;ll likely get a kick out of the new trailer for the latest Star Wars game, Star Wars Battlefront. The reboot to the classic shooter is coming this November and publisher Electronic Arts released the first trailer of the game recently. If you haven't played many video games lately you'll be blown away by the trailer's next-generation visuals, intense ground and air-combat as well as its impressive sense of scale.

Order Tickets For Star Wars and More: The Music of John Williams

The celebration of Star Wars does not have to end due to Cinco de Mayo. On May 22 and 23 you can watch the San Antonio Symphony perform John Williams's iconic Star Wars score. Guest conductor Stuart Chafetz will lead the orchestral performance, promising to not only play famous tracks from Williams's work with Star Wars but with selections from Harry Potter, Jaws, Schindler's List and Indiana Jones.

The only way the show could be better is if it was performed in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine itself.
These are just a few ideas on what you could do on May 4. You could finally start designing that Darth Maul costume you’ve always said you would make. You could download the full Star Wars series now that they’re finally available digitally. You could also start lining up at your favorite theater to get tickets to The Force Awakens. So what if people make fun of you for being unemployed and waiting in line for a movie that doesn’t come out for six months? It's Episode VII!
