Has it been a year already?
The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts invites all of San Antonio and Bexar County to celebrate the milestone on Sunday, August 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. The venue opened its doors on September 4, 2014.
The event is free and open to the public and features 10 resident companies. There will be live performances, upcoming-show cast members will grace the floor and there will be special discounts on tickets.
And if you haven't been yet, it's a great chance to explore the Tobin Center.
Here are a few highlights:
Clifford the Big Red Dog, and the casts of Ballet San Antonio's Swan Lake and The Nutcracker will all make appearances.
Interested in music? The San Antonio Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo provides an opportunity to interact with musical instruments and the musicians who play them — members of the San Antonio Symphony members.
Of maybe the theater is your love. Visitors will get a chance to enjoy a close up walk-thru display of AtticRep set designs.
"The celebration is not complete without a sweet nod to our anniversary. On September 4, 2014 The Tobin Center opened its doors and invited San Antonio in.
