We've got a few bites for you this afternoon:

To start off, four San Anto chefs will make the drive to Austin and participate in this year's "Live Fire!" event on Thursday, April 9 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at The Salt Lick Pavilion in Driftwood. Jason Dady (Jason Dady Restaurant Group), Diego Galicia and Rico Torres (Mixtli) and John Philpot (The Monterey) will all join in this meat-tastic event, put on by the Austin Food & Wine Alliance. Early bird tickets ($70, regularly $85) are still available for the first 100 folks. The evening includes live music, cocktails, wine and more.

The Monterey (1127 S. St. Mary's St.) is now open Tuesday through Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. (late night Monty snacks?!) and Sunday brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Little Fox, the Italian pop-up via chef Mark Martinez, will continue Sunday and Monday evenings from 6-10 p.m.

Lastly, Travis Park will host a Dinner En Blanc party on March 20 from 6 to 11 p.m. to celebrate its one-year anniversary. The dinner will be free of charge for those wearing white, but reservations are being held for parties of six through 24 from $200 to $1,000, respectively. Funding will help pay for art installations, live music and other programming. The St. Anthony Hotel will offer picnic packages for the evening; orders for those should be placed 72 hours prior to the event.
