Tony Parker doesn't know what to do with all this wine.
After another long and grueling, although successful, year the Spurs are finally getting a well deserved rest. Some members of the San Antonio Spurs family are using their time off to enjoy the area's local cuisine.
For starters, we all know coach Gregg Popovich is a wine connoisseur; he even has his own exclusive label under A to Z Wines called Rock & Hammer. Perhaps, Pop and his star point guard's, Tony Parker, relationship has grown over a mutual love of wine. But then again, what French guy doesn't love his wine?

Juniper Tar makes Bobo smile.
Just like their teammate, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Boris Diaw also have a fancy for wines and cocktails. The two have been seen having a good time at Juniper Tar (244 W. Houston St., 210-296-7679); the hangout is a brand new cocktail bar with limited capacity and strict dress code. Make sure to wear a collared shirt before going.

Green makes the season's ending a little sweeter with a Pizookie
Danny Green has been keeping busy this off-season. Not only has the Spurs' shooting guard hosted a party to kickoff Memorial Day Weekend, but also Green has been spotted at BJ's (5447 W. Loop 1604 N., 210-523-5700) eating a Famous Pizookie. Served hotter than Danny Green's three-point shooting, the Pizookie also comes with vanilla ice cream and your choice of chocolate chunk, white chocolate macadamia nut, peanut butter or oatmeal raisin walnut cookie.

It's never too hot for Patty to get a latte.
Spurs energizer, Patty Mills, provided a spark off the bench for the team, but even though the season is over, the Aussie point guard can be found keeping up his energy with Indy Coffee Company's flat white, a concoction originally created in Patty's homeland.

Aron Baynes takes his eyes off of basketballs this offseason to get a good look at Harmon's Barbecue.
Like Patty Mills, fellow Australian Aron Baynes has also been taking in the local eats. Baynes, a known barbecue fanatic has been spotted all over South Texas in search of new barbecue restaurants. One of the restaurants Baynes discovered on his barbecue hunt was Harmon's Barbecue (102 S. Main St., Cibolo, 210-904-0353). Although the location is just north of San Antonio, that doesn't stop Aron from visiting Harmon's Barbecue for the restaurant's food and family friendly atmosphere.
Although the Spurs are out of the playoffs early this year, hopefully all of San Antonio's fine cuisine will help them refuel for next season.
