There's a new menu at the Brooklynite.

Remember back when we didn't know the joys of weekly tiki bashes? Yeah, me either. The Brooklynite (516 Brooklyn Ave., 210-444-0707), Jeret Peña's first bar venture is celebrating its third anniversary on Tuesday, October 13 with several new menu options.

To kick things off, the bar will feature its greatest hits menu with $7 drink specials from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Original bartenders, Javier Gutierrez and Karah Carmack, now with Alchemy Kombucha and Culture and Paramour, respectively, will be head back behind the bar to shake up all the booze.

Yes, there will be a birthday cake with a big ol' three on it, but Boulevardier Group chef Lorenzo Morales will also debut a new corn dog menu. Expect a Mexican chorizo dog with mole mayo, a General Tso dog with, a Carolina dog with slaw and because you sometimes you need a hefty meal to soak up a night's worth of drinks, the menu will be rounded out with a Monte Cristo dog. That's worth repeating: A Monte. Cristo. Dog. All dogs are priced at $8. Oh, and cracked black pepper tater tots with garlic and parm mayo, because reasons for $5.

The celebration is rounded out with jazzy stylings of The Spiders Jazz Quintet.
