Giving everyone a splash of hope going into the weekend, Match.com has named the city of San Antonio the best city in America to score a second date in their sixth annual Comprehensive Study of the Single Population. According to the study, three out of four first dates result in a second, so for those of you having your first dates on Sunday (and why the hell would you?), the statistics favor you.
Besides that, this Orwellian nightmare of a survey is making a concerned effort to track every dating habit everyone has.
“With this cogent 2015 survey of single Americans, we are uncovering more and more of the shrouded attitudes and behaviors of this massive population,” said Dr. Helen Fisher, the chief scientific advisor for Match.com and author of
Anatomy of Love: A Natural History of Mating, Marriage, and Why We Stray. We're coming ever closer to cataloging every good and bad habit until we're inevitably assigned partners in a weird sorting hat situation.
(Editor's note: Surely Slytherin would be the best lovers of the lot.)
Until that happens, check out their progress
