. Yup, you guessed it we're four sisters who work together, fight together and have the best time together. We blog about many different things, and now we just happen to be writing for the SA Current. This is such a great opportunity and we're beyond thrilled to be working with the Current and to be sharing some of our best recipes with y'all. Every Tuesday we'll be giving out some pretty fabulous food and cocktail recipes. We've accumulated some fantastic recipes through out the years so get your taste buds ready!
First up though this fresh, spicy and sweet Watermelon Margarita. It's a perfect drink for summer. It wakes up your taste buds with that kick of jalapeno and the sweetness of the watermelon just finishes off the drink perfectly. Katy is our resident bartender in our household so she uses nothing but the freshest ingredients. Fresh watermelon is the key to this drink. Just cut up your watermelon in chunks and blend on high speed. When the watermelon is pureed sieve it through a strainer so you get nothing but that beautiful watermelon juice. As for us we only added one round slice of seedless jalapeno, but if your feeling a bit more daring you can always use two slices.
