Two Bros. BBQ Hosts SA Cocktail Conference Warm-Up

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that the San Antonio Cocktail Conference is but a month away. Even as a third year attendee, I can't say I'm ready for what's in store. On Tuesday night, chef Jason Dady shared a link to ANOTHER new event.

The BBQ & Bourbon Kickoff will be held at Two Bros. BBQ (12656 West, (210) 496-0222) on January 15 (the day before the conference is set to start) at 7 p.m. The $60 all-inclusive event will feature "assorted BBQ stations serving Texas brisket with bourbon peach BBQ sauce, bourbon & honey-glazed baby back ribs, smoked porchetta with pear mostarda and smoked and fried crispy chicken wings with cumin dust. All served with BBQ side dishes and paired with Buffalo Trace, W. L. Weller, and W. L. Weller 12 year bourbons."

Bonus: They'll also serve up bourbon pecan banana puddin'.

The kickoff is not included in either of the All-Access Party Passes available for $250-300. Look for another batch of similar kickoffs in the next few days from Biga on the Banks (which will hold its event on Tuesday, January 14) and Mi Tierra's Mariachi Bar (which will hold its event on Wednesday, January 15). Tickets are limited so don't put this off.
