Beginning this Friday, you can feed your stomach and your social consciousness, courtesy of Chipotle, the sustainability-touting fast food chain, and the San Antonio Botanical Garden. The two have joined forces for Chipotle Sustainability Films, a series of three documentary screenings with — and here's the kicker — FREE CHIPOTLE

The series will host three outdoor screenings beginning Friday, March 13. Yes, you must bring your own blanket or lawn chair, but each filmgoer will be handed a free Chipotle burrito.

Friday's screening is Fed Up a film director by Stephanie Soechtig that claims "everything we’ve been told about food and exercise for the past 30 years is dead wrong." The series continues on April 1 with Growing Cities, a documentary that explores the the topic of urban farming. The final film, which screens May 8, is More Than Honey, which examines the impact the declining bee population has on modern society.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and a panel discussion precedes each film. RSVP is required for your free burrito. Email info@sabot.org to claim your spot on the lawn.
