Tickets For Gruene Music & Wine Festival Go On Sale Next Tuesday

It's that time of the year again, for Gruene Music and Wine Festival starting Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11. Tickets for the four day event go on sale starting Tuesday, September 1. Gruene Historic District is hosting the four day event where there will be door prizes, speciality beer tastings and a Tucker Marshall Band performance as well as other guest appearances.

This year expect to taste some of the best authentic Texas food you may find, with some of the best food trucks and over 40 wines and beers. The festival, which originated as a one-day wine tasting, has over the years been more inviting to families. Whether you're the 6-year-old rock star, 20-something foodie, or the seasoned hipster who's now a parent or in the business world there is everything and something for you there.

The line up for the festival starts on October 8, at the Grapevine Garden at 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 dollars at the door, you can start purchasing tickets at 3 p.m. next Tuesday. First night festivities are themed " Not From Texas." Experience some unique flavors from the "Not From Texas" selection as well door prizes to places outside of Texas that are known for having their own selection of drinks, foods and city fun.

The festival continues into Friday with a special meet-and-greet with the Pat Green. Taste the  refreshing family owned and operated wine of Fiesta Winery, Westcave Cellars and Brennan Vineyard. Not only will you wine, but you'll get to dine and grub on some Texas dishes. Tickets for this jam-packed event will start at $75 for general admission and $540 dollars to reserve a table for the events. Don't wait till the last minute to purchase your tickets, there is limited space and once tickets go on sale at 1 p.m. September 1, they will go quickly.

Saturday's lineup includesperformances from Aaron Neville where the whole family can enjoy. Children five and under are free, minors are $10 and adults 21+ are $20  in advance or $30 at the door. Minimize your time in line by buying in advance, and you can receive your wristband as early as 10 a.m. Rain or shine it's going down, live music performances on two stages, over 100 different Texas wines to taste and feature food from Teka Molino, Shaggy Dog and Texas Olive Ranch. 

On Sunday the historic Gruene Hall opens from 10:30 a.m. to noon ($30 for adults, $15 for children) with a twist to this Texas Gospel music and buffet experience. Then from 1 to 6 p.m. on the Grapevine Grounds there will be another opportunity to taste speciality beers and haute foods available. Tickets for the tasting are $15 dollars in advance and 20 dollars at the door.
