The Cortez Family, responsible for Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery
and La Margarita, is adding a fourth eatery to the mix this October. Under the direction of chef Cariño Cortez, Viva Villa Taqueria
will be the first quick-service restaurant by the group.
The space at 905 Dolorosa St. is more than 2,500 square feet with open seating, a bar that opens out to Market Square and features wine margaritas and features pop art Pancho Villa throughout its walls by artist Andy Benavides.
Viva Villa Taqueria
is slated to open October 23 with a menu of mini street tacos, tacos compuestos and cazuelas among other items.
