Openly gay, Forbrich belongs to several equal rights organizations and currently serves as a board member with the Stonewall Democrats of San Antonio. Forbrich is also the President of the Bexar County Young Democrats and was appointed to work on the Bexar County Dems budget and finance committee in the wake of the party’s damaging embezzlement scandal.
