In mid-October, Gaucho Gourmet (935 Isom) changed gears at their bodega with a more cheese-focused lineup, a new takeout lunch menu available Monday through Saturday and a seasonal market with Groomer's Seafood as partner. The relaunch was a way for the shop to setup their goals for the Ciorciari family's next venture, The Texas Cheese Cellar, at 401 Pearl Parkway. The shop, which was announced this past Friday, will feature cut-to-order cheeses from around the globe, the U.S. and Texas, along with wines by the glass and charcuterie boards. Guests can expect to get their night cheese on by late January. In the meantime, Gaucho will continue hosting fun chefs at their main location. Robbie Nowlin of Citrus at Valencia Hotel will lead a foie gras cooking class during the shop's annual Duck & Foie Gras Feast on November 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit gauchogourmet.com for tickets.
