> We have finally gotten over the fact that Dough did Dallas an undeserved favor by opening an outlet there and have moved on to simply appreciating the virtues of the original location. Education in the art of pizza-making, for example: Kids are given a floury ball of dough to stretch out into rough pie form; it's then taken back and topped with tomato sauce and cheese and baked just for them. Gratis. Grownups will have to content themselves with the pro pizzaiolo's Pork Love and its multiple porcine parts, the house-made sausage model with unexpectedly effective red grapes, or the pie with n'duja, the spreadable Calabrian sausage, and burrata. Cichetti (appetizers) should precede any pizza, emphasis on the house-pulled mozzarella and fior di latte burrata filled with, oh, black truffle flakes and served with balsamic reduction. A small cichetti selection can be had at happy hour when they are half price, as are all glasses of wine from the impressive, all-Italian list.
