Sunday, Sept 15: Imagine a world where you knew how to cook everything. The staff at Sur La Table can help with this three-part course that dives into food journalist Mark Bittman’s tome, How to Cook Everything: The Basics. Learn about grains, how to choose cuts of meat and how to trust your instincts in the kitchen. Tuesday, Sept 17: This is basically Platoon with more wine. OK, probably not, but Wine Wars at Max’s Wine Dive pits 10 wines against each other through a “blind tasting like no other.” Give your taste buds a run for their money, or just sample tasty wine.
