In celebration of Women’s History Month, Palo Alto College Performing Arts Center presents an evening with United Farm Workers co-founder and activist Dolores Huerta. Recognized for her work as a labor leader and farm workers’ rights advocate, Huerta’s fight for equality for women, workers and immigrants has cast her into the spotlight of Latino and women’s communities nationwide. While honoring women in public service, Thursday evening’s event will include stories from Huerta’s past, tied in with labor and civil rights issues that are still relevant today.
