Pearsall Potato Fest

Pearsall Potato Fest will be held Friday May 14, and Saturday, May 15 at Firemans Park in Pearsall. Attractions include a chuckwagon cook off, CASI chili cook off, salsa contest, carnival, arts & crafts booths, food booths, and various contests and musical entertainment. Wine Education Classes

Soul Food

The Soul Food Festival will take place on Saturday, May 15 at La Villita. The event will feature: fried fish, casserole, collard greens, sweet potato pie, fried pork chops, barbeque ribs and brisket. Admission is free. Info: 207-8618.

Texas hill country fest

Texas Hill County artists, art galleries, and wineries will be hosting The Texas Hill Country Art & Wine Trail 2004 on Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16. There are 16 stops along the trail. View works of art at local Hill Country artists' studios and art galleries, and sip wines from Fall Creek Vineyards, Flat Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery, Lost Creek Vineyard, and Spicewood Vineyards.
