More Easter food events

Prepare for Easter by taking the kids to Whole Foods Market, 255 E. Basse, on Saturday, March 26, from 11am-2pm for a workshop on dying Easter eggs naturally. Dress for a mess, as the participants will work hands-on with all-natural dyes and other potentially clothes-staining crafts. The event is free. For more information, call 826-4676.

After hiding eggs in yards throughout San Antonio, the Easter Bunny will stop by Sunset Station, 1174 E. Commerce, to entertain children at an Easter Brunch on Sunday, March 27. In addition to an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Creole chicken, shrimp jambalaya, and an omelet station, the Easter Brunch will include an Easter Egg Hunt and live music by The New Soul Invaders at 11am and 2pm Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children ages 5-12. If you don't mind making a trip to Austin this Easter Sunday, stop by the Driskill Hotel, 604 Brazos, for an elaborate buffet featuring cold salads buffet, a traditional hot breakfast buffet, and lunch entrées such as chicken caccitore, roasted ribeye with Yorkshire pudding, and pan-seared pork medallions. Entertainment will be provided by a flute and harp duet and a personal appearance by the Easter Bunny. Early seating is offered at 11am, 11:30am, and noon.
