Mingo Saldívar (“The Dancing Cowboy,” legendary accordionist, still performing and recording after more than five decades)

Johnny Canales (host and executive producer of El Show de Johnny Canales in Univision, Telemundo, and Televisa, an influential Tejano/conjunto TV show in Mexico and the US. The guy who immortalized the phrase “Vámonos, take it away”)

Elsa García (singer, the only female producer in Tejano)
