Two professional wrestlers team up to capture a madman who is playing Dr. Frankenstein with dog brains and the bodies of dead athletes. Ladrón de Cadáveres will screen at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15, and 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Instituto de México, 600 Hemisfair Park. Admission is free.

An ineffectual but omnipresent police manhunt is disrupting Germany's criminal underworld, which is moved to join in the search for a psychotic child murderer played by Peter Lorre. Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund Grant Writing Workshop

The San Antonio College Radio, Television, and Film Department hosts a free workshop introduction to the Austin Film Society's annual grant program. Attendance is not mandatory for applicants, but required forms, attachments, and due dates will be covered. 7 p.m. Monday, May 16, Jean Longwith RTF Building, SAC campus, 1300 San Pedro.
