Alas, no flash fiction this week. Submissions have slowed to a trickle. And not the good kind of trickle, which a flash fiction can mimic. I should have something for next week, though. Stay tuned. In the meantime: send in your submissions to flashfiction@sacurrent.com. I'm looking for approximately 500-word stories. That's about it. I'll always get back to submitters with feedback whether I accept the work or not. This week, I'm posting two links to two magazines. They're weathering the recession & electronic maelstrom by publishing excellent work. Check them out & then subscribe & submit. Nano Fiction: This is an excellent magazine from right here in the great state of Texas (Houston). Some of the material is available online. (Read about the IRS' ridiculous allegations about Nano Fiction.) Quick Fiction: Another fantastic flash fiction magazine featuring our own Forrest Roth. Read, become inspired, write, write more, edit, become inspired. Work. Always work. Or as Samuel Beckett put it: Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
