Attention nerds: Alamo City Comic Con (ACCC) is one month away. Celebrities galore will be attending this three-day event. Considering this is only the con's second year, they have an impressive line-up.

Stan Lee

Co-creator of iconic comic book characters, including Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, and Iron Man, the  “Generalissmo” himself, Stan Lee, will attend ACCC. The 91-year-old comic book legend has been inducted in the Will Eisner Hall of Fame Award in 1994, and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame Award in 1995. He is the founder, chairman, and chief creative officer at POW! Entertainment.

Kevin Eastman

Co-creator of the mega-hit comic,a television, and movie franchise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), Kevin Eastman is a hero in a half-shell to fans around the nation. He was also owner of fantasy comic magazine Heavy Metal and Tundra Publishing. He has worked with IDW Publishing writing TMNT comics as well. The most recent iteration of the franchise is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

 

Clark Gregg

Marvel’s own Agent Coulson from the television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Clark Gregg is our beloved inside man to the Marvel Universe. He played this reoccurring role in Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), and The Avengers (2012). Gregg is also a writer and director. He also wrote and directed the movie Choke (2008) of the new movie Trust Me (2013).

Chandler Riggs

The Walking Dead’s Carl Grimes (portrayed by Chandler Riggs) wanted to be just like his zombie killing Daddy, Rick Grimes. He has done us all proud by surviving four seasons of the hit AMC show. You can catch Riggs in two upcoming movies, Mercy, and Home Invasion.

 

George Takei

Rhymes with “gay”, George Takei has grown into an internet powerhouse and living meme over the course of his career. He not only advocates for LGBT rights, he advocates the laughs out of fans with his quick wit and his now classic “Oh My!” catch phrase. He also played Mr. Hikaru Sulu in Star Trek. Oh my!

 Giancarlo Esposito

Giancarlo Esposito is an industry veteran. Since the 1980's, he has worked on hit TV shows - from Sesame Street to Miami Vice. He his currently best known as the unforgettable drug kingpin Gustavo “Gus” Fring from Breaking Bad. Nevertheless, Esposito has gone onto find success with roles in Once Upon A Time, and Revolution. Notably, he will also be the voice of Akela in the upcoming Jungle Book movie.

 

Brighton Sharbino

 As Lizzie Samuels in The Walking Dead, Brighton Sharbino definitely brought “the crazy”. (SPOILER ALERT) befriends zombies, almost suffocates a baby, and then kills her sister (END SPOILER ALERT). She also portrayed Maisie Hart in True Detective, and Luann in the movie Cheap Thrills (2013). Sharbino is thirteen years old.

Linda Blair

Regan, the terrifying, possessed child in The Exorcist (1973) that can barf for miles, gave generations of children nightmares that may never go away thanks for Linda Blair's award-winning performance. As an adult, took on roles in more campy films, including Hell Night (1981),Chained Heat (1983) and Savage Streets (1984). As a commited animal activist, Blair founded the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation.

Nichelle Nichols

Nichelle Nichols is an original geek girl. Not only has she portrayed Ahura from the original hit television series Star Trek, but she made appearances in all six Star Trek movies. She has recruited astronauts for NASA, and been a sci-fi novelist. She is an accomplished singer, and also is a dedicated advocate for the STEM Initiative.

 Naomi Grossman

Comedian/writer/actor Naomi Grossman is a one-woman show. Not only has her solo shows snagged numerous awards, she played the weirdly lovable Pepper (yes, Pepper!) – the inmate with a tiny head but a huge personality - from horror television show American Horror Story: Asylum. She is set to reprise the fan-favorite role in the upcoming American Horror Story: Freak Show.

 

Lori Petty

Lori Petty dominated the early 90’s. She was in Point Break (1989), A League of Their Own (1992), Free Willy (1993) and Tank Girl! (1995). She is also the voice of DC Universe supervillian Livewire in the animated series The New Adventures of Batman (1998), and Superman (1997). Recently, she had a brief but influential role as Lolly in the Netflix original show Orange is the New Black that earned her a spot in the upcoming season. She directs and stars in the new movie Happy Fists Claudia.

Julie Newmar

The iconic Julie Newmar is star of both stage and screen. She earned her first Broadway role at 19 in Silk Stockings. Later, she won a Tony for her performance in Marriage-Go-Round. Newmar migrated to television performing on talk shows, and landed a role as The Devil on the Twilight Zone. Newmar is best known as Catwoman from the 1960's live-action television show Batman.
