Heroes and Fantasies will use the force this Saturday, January 17. The comic books shop is hosting a Star Wars Comic Celebration Event in honor of Marvel’s new Star Wars #1 comic book release.

As we've seen from previous bashes, this store knows how to party nerd-style. Local comic book artists Joe Wight, Austin Rodgers, and Freddy Lopez will be hanging around and sketching your favorite Star Wars characters. San Antonio’s Star Wars cosplay organizations—the Rebel Legion and the 501st —will be there in full costumed regalia. Fans can also take their picture with a replica of R2D2, the lovable blue and silver droid, from the series. Celebrity special guest Daniel Logan, who played Boba Fett in Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones and the animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars, also plans to join in on the fun, meeting fans and signing autographs from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

If that isn't enough, a commemorative Star Wars bounty hunter print is also available for purchase . You can also pre-order an exclusive comic book cover commemorating the reboot here. Doors open at 10:00 a.m.
