'The Power Of A Dream' Premieres Sunday At The Palladium

  • The Power of a Dream

A locally produced, inspirational documentary, The Power of a Dream, will premiere at the Palladium IMAX (17703 West IH-10) at 6 p.m. on Sunday night.

The films tells the story of San Antonio native, Eric Castillo, this film tells the story of 2001 John Marshall High School graduate who pursued his dream of playing college football despite having no high school or collegiate experience.

At age 30, Castillo was the oldest walk-on for the University of the Incarnate Word football team after overcoming alcohol addiction and other personal setbacks.

Shot by Taylor Trash Productions, the documentary also features Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams and ex-NFL cornerback Lenny Walls.

Eric Castillo, Ricky Williams and Lenny Walls will all be in attendance. 

Admission is $15 with $5 for each ticket sold benefitting Breaking Down Walls, a nonprofit founded by Lenny Walls that provides San Antonio youth affordable sports learning programs and mentorship.
