McNay Museum Announces Exhibition to Coincide with San Antonio Tricentennial

Everyone in San Antonio is planning to go big for the city's tricentennial celebration in 2018. That includes the McNay Museum, which has gained the reputation as being one of the city's top spots for all things arts and culture.

The museum is planning to unveil a special exhibition next year to celebrate the tricentennial. Titled "Immersed: Local to Global Art Sensations," the exhibition will highlight San Antonio as a center of deep history, local values and global thinking.

Immersed will include the creative work of Yayoi Kusama, Philip Worthington and San Antonio-based artist Chris Sauter. A film by the late Andy Warhol will also be on display.
