George Lopez, Cedric The Entertainer Bringing Legendary Comedic Performance to San Antonio

Posted By on Mon, Jan 22, 2018 at 3:56 PM

Whether you love him or hate him, George Lopez is coming to San Antonio.

Lopez, alongside Cedric The Entertainer, Eddie Griffin and D.L. Hughley, will come to the Alamo City for "The Comedy Get Down."

According to the AT&T Center website, the four comedians – or rather, "members of comedy royalty" – will appear at the AT&T Center on Friday, April 6. Their tour appearance will be accompanied by a scripted series on BET that chronicles offstage happenings.

The last time the comedians – alongside the late Charlie Murphy – brought The Comedy Get Down to San Antonio, Lopez made headlines when a video was shared with him telling a Seattle audience: "You guys have outdone San Antonio. F–k San Antonio."

Apparently it was all a misunderstanding, and Lopez even went on air with Sirius XM to reassure he wasn't hating on the 210.
If you think all is forgiven, tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am. You can purchase those on the Ticketmaster and AT&T Center websites, as well as by phone at (800) 745-3000.

$48-$88, Friday, April 6, 8pm, AT&T Center, 1 AT&T Center Parkway, (210) 444-5000, attcenter.com.
