Billed as a “monumental initiative” built around gastronomy, music and dance, and art and architecture, Pearl’s summer-long Tricentennial program Olé imports a talented array of Spanish chefs, performers and artists to “celebrate, collaborate, and explore San Antonio’s 300-year connection to Spain.” While brimming with ticketed events and dinners at Pearl Stable, Cured, Hotel Emma, The Granary and Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery ($25-$150), the series also features a number of offerings that are free and open to the public.

Among the first arrivals is Primitivo Daza, a Madrid-based flamenco dancer, actor and opera star celebrated for his work with the National Dance Company of Spain. Promising to “share the soul of Spain with San Antonio,” Daza’s free performance in Pearl Park features support from a company comprising five musicians and three dancers.

Free, Fri Jun 22, 7:30-9pm, Pearl Park, 303 Pearl Pkwy., (210) 212-7260, atpearl.com/ole.
