Hannibal Buress, who sold out two shows at Paper Tiger in 2016, is returning to San Antonio for one night at the Tobin Center on September 16.

His popularity stems from his multi-hyphenate abilities, from reprising his role as Lincoln, a lovable dentist on Comedy Central's Broad City and running his podcast "The Handsome Rambler" to remaining an always non-plussed presence while co-hosting the chaotic good energy of the Eric Andre Show. His most recent hour long standup special, Comedy Camisado, is now streaming on Netflix.

Buress' comedy is bemused, deadpan and eccentric with an "unusual charisma" the FADER says.

If you are not familiar with his work, then you may know him as the guy who resurfaced Bill Cosby as a serial rapist into the popular conversation during a set last October.

This year, he made appearances in TAG, starring alongside Jon Hamm, Rashida Jones, and Isla Fisher, as well as the new Universal comedy series, Blockers.

You would be hard pressed to find a local comedy nerd who won't be at this show.

$29.50-$55, Sept 16, 8pm, Tobin Center, 100 Auditorium Circle,  210-223-8624, tobincenter.org.
