If you were trying to experience what might be the best live orchestral tribute to Prince on the planet, then you’re definitely going to want to see 4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince, which is coming to the Majestic Theatre this week.

The symphonic celebration of one of the most revered recording artists of all time will present the music of Prince with a full symphony orchestra. In addition, each show will feature a live band that will perform alongside the orchestra. Drawing from Prince’s singular and extensive music catalog, the show will highlight many of his hits that captivated generations of fans, alongside lesser known gems. The Roots’ drummer, Questlove (an avid Prince fan), has helped curate the music and orchestral arrangements that will be played by the symphony.

$39.50-$69.50, Fri Oct. 19, 8pm, The Majestic Theatre, 224 E. Houston St., (210) 226-3333,
