Chef bromances might be the best win-win ever. They get together for tasty collaborative dinners and we get to sample awesome food. For this month's guest chef collaborative dinner at The Granary, chef Tim Rattray will team up with Pennsylvania's Kevin Sousa, whose restaurants include Salt of the Earth, Union Pig & Chicken and Station Street Hot Dogs.

Rattray, a fan of Sousa's work, reached out to the James Beard Award nominee via Twitter. Although the pair have exchanged what seems like "50 million emails" in the last few weeks, they won't actually meet until Sunday when Sousa flies into town.

There are still 15 seats left for the 6 p.m. dinner and only three seats left for the 8:30 p.m. seating. The $69 dinner will include seven courses including:

  • Green tomato sorbet, scallops, sorrel, ginger, melon
  • Cucumber, sungold tomato, pastrami, elderflower mustard, smoked brisket fat mayo
  • Beef heart tartare, smoked egg salad, mushroom relish, and radish
  • Octopus pickled and smoked , jasmine tea prickly pear, BBQ chips, furikake
  • Wild boar ragout, bucatini, preserved lemon, egg yolk, mimolette
  • Blue cheese, chocolate, almond, flower, nasturtium
  • Fried peach pie, smoked foie icing, corn ice cream

Additional wine and beer pairings will be available; check online for prices. Visit The Granary and reserve a spot through the restaurant's OpenTable widget.
