As a part of Brazilian tradition, Fogo de Chão, 849 E. Commerce St., will be honoring southern Brazilian cowboys, known as gauchos for their bravery during the Farroupilha Revolution on Gaucho Day, September 20.

How will they celebrate? With free food, natch!

The Brazilian Steakhouse will be giving away a free dessert to diners saying "Happy Gaucho Day" to their servers or gaucho chefs from through Friday, September 20. during lunch or dinner.

If your not into dessert, opt for a chance to win a free dinner using Facebook.

On Friday, the chain will be giving away dinner for four with a private kitchen tour to one lucky Facebook fan.

Chao is known for it's 16 signature cuts of grilled meats. Diners can choose from grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken or sausage along with their choice of sides, like a gourmet salad bar with over 30 items or a southern Brazilian side dish like warm cheese bread, garlic-mashed potatoes, crispy polenta and caramelized bananas.
