First Course: Cured's Brews & Blues dinner, The Granary's chef collaborative and a farm dinner at Tuk Tuk

In honor of blues legend Robert Johnson, Cured (306 Pearl) will host a Brews and Blues dinner on Thursday, May 8. The multi-course dinner will have beer pairings from Brooklyn Brewery and is $75 per person.

The San Antonio Zoological Society is (3903 N St. Mary’s) is hosting a Zoo-la-la 19th annual feast with the beasts Hawaiian Luau on Friday, May 9 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Local fare from restaurants around San Antonio, live entertainment, beer booths from Silver Eagle Distributors and a wine trail will be a part of the event. Individual tickets are $55 and $100 for couples.

Here’s something exciting: The Granary ‘Cue and Brew's (602 Avenue A) Tim Rattray (see Best Chef 2014) is having a chef collaborative dinner with chef Scott Anderson, James Beard nominee Best Chef Mid-Atlantic, of Elements Restaurant on Monday, May 19. The seven course dinner with beer and wine pairings is $90 per person with two different seatings at 6:15 and 9 p.m.

Take a taste trip to Southeast Asia with chef David Gilbert of Tuk Tuk Taproom (1702 Broadway). In collaboration with vendors at the Quarry Farmers Market, Tuk Tuk will have a three-course farm dinner on Sunday, June 8 at 5 p.m inspired by Asia. Tickets are $50-$95 with beer, wine and kombucha pairings. Call (210) 722-5077 to make reservations.
