Saturday, August 16: Busted Sandal Brewing Co. and the San Antonio Cerveceros will host a free all-grain brewing class while making a collaboration benefit brew for the local ALS Association Texas Chapter. Saturday, August 16: Branchline Brewing Co. hosts their monthly tour and beer tasting. Sample Woodcutter Rye IPA, Shady Oak Honey Blonde, Evil Owl Amber and a limited amount of small batch brews. $10 gets you a pint glass and three pours, 5-8pm, 3633 Metro Pkwy, (210) 403-2097,

Monday, August 18: Q on the Riverwalk hosts its first Third Monday Bourbon dinner with Knob Creek Bourbon and eats via chef Russell Young. The three-course dinner will feature pairing straight bourbon whiskey, rye whiskey, Knob Creek's single barrel reserve and their smoked maple offering with bold barbecue flavors. $45, 6-8pm, Hyatt Regency, 123 Losoya, (210) 510-4477.
