The Austin-based Torchy's Tacos doesn't officially open its first San Antonio location until Thursday, December 18. (They'll be giving away free breakfast tacos from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. One per customer.) But you can get an early taste to find out what everyone is making such a big deal about at the Torchy's public preview party this Wednesday, December 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Lincoln Heights (999 E Basse).

Guests can sample their full menu, including the Trailer Park taco (pictured above). The fried chicken taco is either the most beautiful thing you have ever seen or, if you're a taco purist, shameful heresy. In addition to the free taco samples—and why would you ever say no to taco samples?—preview party guests will be treated to two free drinks to ensure everyone has a margarita or ice cold beer to wash down their taco treats.

There will also be a chance to win free Torchy's tacos for a year, so expect a madhouse. You've been warned. This may turn out to be the a-taco-lypse.
