Saturday, January 17: The San Antonio Cerveceros will kick off the year with a course on cleaning techniques, regiments and cleaning supplies. In "Keeping it Clean," you'll learn how to keep your brews from turning south using 5 Star Cleaning supplies. The group will also be tapping into their Ales for ALS beer, brewed last August. Sunday, January 18: Support the regional Barman's Fund, a group which donates money to different groups based on certain shifts. Stop by Esquire Tavern for Barman's Brunch, with dishes like salmon eggs Benedict, pancakes with foie gras and blackberry maple syrup and a ham and pimento Monte Cristo sandwich. $1 from every cocktail will go toward the fun. Monday, January 19: Work off that San Antonio Cocktail Conference hangover with visits to this winter's participating Restaurant Week eateries. The week-long celebration put on by Culinaria, a non-profit that benefits students in the culinary field, kicks off with more than 50 eateries across town including Feast, Cured, La Frite, Arcade, featuring two price tiers. Visit for more details.
