As Blue Bell Ice Cream sadly remains out of commission, Ben & Jerry’s has stepped it up for all ice cream lovers in Texas. Ben & Jerry’s announced a Texas Churned”Truck Tour launching this summer.

Visiting four large cities in Texas, Ben & Jerry’s will be giving away free samples of ice cream in San Antonio from July 23 through August 14. Yes, that’s right, FREE.

The company announced in a press release their loyalty to the Lone Star State as they will bring two variations of ice cream specially made with Texas flavor, BBQ Peach, which sounds questionable at first but is actually a peach ice cream with a hint ancho chili (yum!), or Bourbon Pecan Pie, which is pretty self-explanatory.

San Antonio, the power rests in your hands. Which flavor is the perfect match for Texas’ very own Ben & Jerry’s pint flavor?

Simply tweet @BenJerrysTexas scoop truck, or tweet your favorite choice of Texas ice cream and the Ben & Jerry’s “Texas Churned” truck likely may swing by with free scoops. Their website calendar will also keep residents updated on events in San Antonio where the truck will be serving thier Texas inspired scoops.
