Caliber Collision Hopes To Raise 2 Million Meals This Summer

Caliber Collision is working on restoring a different kind of drive to kick-off summer.

The national chain of auto centers will be hosting its fourth annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive through Friday, June 26 that will support the San Antonio Food Bank. The company's mission is to restore regular meals for at-risk children whose diets will be lacking without school lunches during summer vacation.

Eleven regional locations have food collection bins set up across San Antonio, New Braunfels, Boerne and Schertz for easy donation drop off. This year, the company is hoping to raise two million meals worth of donations compared to last year's one million. In order to make the goal, Caliber Collision will be matching donations raised regionally. 

The SA Food Bank encourages non-perishable food and monetary donations, and asks that glass, open containers, perishable and homemade food be withheld.
