Nothing tastes better on a hot summer day than a nice light sandwich. Unless its a free sandwich — then we're down pretty much no matter what.

If you're looking for a free sandwich (and let's face it, who isn't?) Getly Delivery (210-960-6694) and Dignowity Meats (1701 E. Houston St., 210-462-1496) are teaming up on Friday, June 19, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to offer a free Smoked Bologna Sandwich from Dignowity's sandwich shop. Although a base delivery charge of $4.99 still applies along with a 9 percent charge on any additional items, the sandwiches themselves will be completely free of charge and look completely amazing .

Getly Delivery opened last November, but the company started running full-time in January. As of now, the delivery service serves from 17 locations throughout Southtown and Downtown San Antonio including Green Vegetarian Cuisine (200 E Grayson St., 210-320-5865) and Waxy O'Connor's (234 River Walk St., 210-229-9299).

Getly's owner, Robert Hernandez, a San Antonio native, wants to extend the service's hours, but for now between 9 a.m and 9 p.m. you can get food, electronics, or clothing delivered straight to your door.
