The two-day event will start Friday, September 25, with its "Down the Roots" competition, where twelve of the states best chefs will compete to create the perfect twist on comfort food for event goers and a panel of expert judges, including television personality Amanda Freitag, a frequent judge on the Food Network show "Chopped."
