You could say oysters are finally having their moment in San Antonio. That being said, there are a handful of places to enjoy fresh oysters around town, be it Gulf or beyond. Here's a quick rundown of where to get your shuck on.

Max's Wine Dive (340 E. Basse Road, Suite 101, 210-444-9547) will serve up their Nacho Mamas Oysters ( $9.75 for a half dozen and $18 for a full dozen), while sister location Boiler House (312 Pearl Pkwy., Building 3, 210-354-4644) is serving their Oyster Casino with bacon butter, piquillo peppers and chicharron dust.

Lüke San Antonio (125 E. Houston St., 210-227-5853) will be serving oyster sliders during happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m.

Head to Jason Dady's Shuck Shack (520 E. Grayson St., 210-236-7422) during happy hour from 2:30-5 p.m. for $5 beverages, $2 cold water oysters and $1.50 Gulf oysters. Or enjoy the $20/dozen Shuckers Stash from 2 to 10 p.m.

Costa Pacifica (434 N. Loop 1604, 210-491-4497) shucks a ton of $1 oysters on Wednesdays, but if you're looking to enjoy a fancier take, try Silo's (multiple locations) chicken fried oysters on a bed of sautéed greens.

Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen (2815 N. Loop 1604 E. #106) is offering an all-day oyster special, $9.99 for half dozen and $19.99 for a full order. And finally, Dry Dock Oyster Bar's (8522 Fredericksburg Road, 210-692-3959) daily happy hour from 3-7 p.m. offers a half dozen half shells for $7.99 and a full order for $15.99.
