Metal Cooking With Steve Is Our New Favorite Snapchatter

I'm not entirely sure how I ended up Snapchat friends with cisteve (to be honest the app did take me a while to understand), but following the guy is one of the best things I've done in weeks.

Steve Hammonds, 25, is a general manager at Big Hops Growler Station, but when he's not pouring IPAs and filling growlers and handling beer-related paperwork, Hammonds works on getting fit (which means passing on IPAs, Hop Nosh is a recent fave).

His protein intake is high as he works on losing pounds (whatever, he's already insanely good-looking); but eating that constantly gets boring. Hammond's turned to his love of metal to make the task of prepping his meals exponentially better — to our benefit.

"A couple days ago I saw this video of people dancing in church with metal dubbed over it. It was so legit, so I thought why can't cooking be metal too?" said Hammonds, who's been with the company since 2013, via email.

The series of snaps is still evolving, but he's already succumbed to the hazards of shirtless cooking with the occasional bacon grease burns. Even if you're not into metal (he's prone to metal cooking with Between the Buried and Me, "So sexy," he said.), there's a certain je ne sais quoi to the videos and it's not just Hammond's physique.

Enough talk. See for yourself.
