Central Market (4821 Broadway) is back in the growler game this Labor Day weekend with the opening of The San Antonio Growler Station. Located across from the refrigerated beer and wine shelves, the SA Growler Station will keep 12 beers on tap for 32- and 64-ounce growler refills.

Shoppers can buy empties there for $7.99 for both sizes, and fill prices for opening weekend range from $6.99 to $10.99 for 32-ounce fills, doubly so for 64-ounce fills. The opening lineup will include beers from Texian, Alamo, Saint Arnold, Southern Star, No Label, Branchline, South Austin, Solid Rock, Real Ale, Save the World, Freetail, Karbach and Grapevine.

The beers will flow starting at noon on Friday, September 4 in advance of Labor Day, and will include guest beer-pearances from Save The World (Friday, noon-2 p.m.), Alamo (Friday, 4-7 p.m.) and Karbach (Sunday, 2-4 p.m.).
