Four Downtown Joints Team up for Classy First Friday Wine Walk

Remember the time you decided you were going to grow up, stop taking shots and dive into the world of wine? Well, what better time than now? Nectar Wine Bar & Ale House (214 Broadway, which will hold its grand opening on Thursday, September 24 at 4 p.m.) is teaming up with Haunt (300 E. Travis), SoHo Wine & Martini Bar (214 W. Crockett) and newly opened O'liva (115 Plaza De Armas, #107) in helping you achieve that dream (paying off your student loans can wait). 

The foursome of bars and restaurants will host an inaugural First Friday Wine Walk on Friday, October 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests (and they're somehow limiting this to only 50 winos) must RSVP at to save their spot to this free event (extended happy hour prices are available at three of the bars, along with a $10 olive oil tasting at O'liva to end the night). 

The wine traipse will include a complementary mask to keep with the month's Halloween theme of "Masquerade." Very spooky.
