Last November I celebrated my birthday with a box of 40 Tiff's Treats cookies, and it was the best damn birthday of my life. The cookie delivery service is now opening a 3rd location here in San Antonio, and you might consider celebrating in the same manner (the calories are worth it, I swear).

On Saturday March 19, the newest Tiff's Treats (1221 Broadway #114) is throwing a grand opening fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and you and your cookie-loving pals can stop by and purchase up to six one-dozen boxes of cookies for $5 in the flavor of your choosing: oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip or snickerdoodle. The first 10 people in the door at 9 a.m. will receive a $100 Tiff's Treats gift card, the next 10 a $50 gift card, the following 10 a $25 gift card and finally, another 10 will receive a $10 gift card.

Additionally, everyone who buys a box of cookies will be entered into a drawing to win a free year's supply Tiff's Treats cookies. Tiff's is also giving away gift cards to local SA establishments throughout the event, and a few lucky attendees will find these prizes tucked into their cookie boxes.

Up to $5000 of the proceeds made during the event will be donated to the Make-A-Wish charity in support of six year-old Harley's wish to see the ocean and swim with dolphins. Tiff's is encouraging attendees to bring new and unwrapped beach supplies like towels, sunscreen, beach balls, floating devices and sunglasses for Harley's family.
