San Antonio loves brunch. I can't quite figure out if it's the copious amount of eggs, crispy bacon by the panful or all of the joints with bottomless mimosas around, but we love brunching around town.

Smoke The Restaurant's new Downtown location (1170 E. Commerce St., 210-253-9919) is launching brunch this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes "From the Smoker" & eggs so you can enjoy brisket and eggs if you damn well please, the bacon and brisket grind burger, chopped brisket and eggs with skillet potatoes and a lard biscuit with apple butter, the Philthy Little Benedict with pulled pork, poached eggs and house-made Hawaiian rolls, and Texas fried chicken and donuts among other items.

Brunch also features music by DJ Donnie Dee of with Top 40 jams of the last four decades.
