3 New Happy Hour Menus to Try This Week

June has #blessed us with three new happy hour menus to check put to the test. All include a bit of everything with bites to nosh while you get your drink on. Here's where you should imbibe this month:

Held Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m., the newly launched happy hour at Frank is pretty damn enticing. Stop in for $2 Coors, Hamm's, Lone Star, Modelo Especial, Pearl, PBR, Schlitz and Tecate, along with $3 select craft beer and $5 Fernet, Jameson, house-infused banana Jameson (WHAT!), gimlets, daqs, Old Fashioneds and Negronis. 

On the snack front, enjoy Frito pies ($3), the carb-lovers giant pretzel ($8), sausage boards ($10), hummus plates ($4), chile cheese fries ($4), queso fries ($4), Lil' Smokies ($3) and German potato salad ($3).

If a $45 rib eye is out of your budget (us too, y'all) but you still want to enjoy the perks of J-Prime, visit during happy hour. Cocktails such as the classic sangria, Manhattan and mules are $8 and snacks such as the prime rib sliders, prime rib carpaccio, smoked salmon and grilled J kabob are $12. 

The happy hour runs 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday-Monday.

This one's a two-fer. Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., all are welcome to enjoy $2 off draft beer and signature cocktails, $5 Old Fashioneds along with new bar bites including a short rib poutine ($5), Thai pork belly slider ($3 each), farm toast with roasted tomato and Parmesan ($5) and WC's sips and spreads trio with edamame hummus, house onion dip and pimento cheese ($5). The same specials are in effect from 9 to 11 p.m. in case you're hoping to do some late shopping and grab a celebratory drink on the way out of La Cantera.

On Wednesdays, Whiskey Cake celebrates all the kweens out there with a Ladies Night happy hour from 4 p.m. to close that features half-priced wine by the bottle or glass. Rosé all day — er at least through close.
