Fans of craft beer and local flavors will want to keep an eye out on market shelves as Austin Eastciders releases a new flavor as of today.

The cider makers known for their Austin Eastciders Original, Austin Eastciders Texas Honey, Austin Eastciders Hopped, and Austin Eastciders Pineapple ciders are adding blood orange to the lineup. The new flavor contains bright red Sicilian blood oranges, heirloom bittersweet apples, and American dessert apples and will likely pair well with mimosas or as a base for other cocktails. Let's toss some Aperol in there and see what happens, shall we?

The company, which brews out of a 33,000 square foot cidery in Southeast Austin as of last July, also launched variety packs of 12, 12-ounce cans which include three cans each of the Original, Hopped, Texas Honey, and Pineapple ciders.

The packs and blood orange are available Costco, HEB, and Whole Foods throughout Texas, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Virginia.
