There are 10 days standing between us and the new season of HBO's Game of Thrones, which premieres July 16.  Surely, I didn't have to tell you that.

The fandom of this fantasy hit extends to San Antonio kitchens, namely Mixtli's, which will host a dinner series celebrating all things Thrones from August 22 to 26. The meals will showcase everything "From Winterfell to Dorne" according to Mixtli's website, where tickets are currently available.

In 2015, chefs Diego Galicia and Rico Torres, both recently named to Food & Wine's Best New Chefs list, and their staff tackled the kingdom of Westeros with several dinners that sold out within a manner of hours. At $97 per person, the dinner will feature several courses by the lauded chefs inside the boxcar-turned-restaurant.
