Alamo Ranch's Hop + Vine is celebrating its one-year anniversary next month and is treating San Antonians to night of dinner and craft beers.

Selected to compliment each course by brewers from Buffalo Bayou Brewery, the dinner event will feature beers from the Houston-based brewery that says it draws inspiration from science and gastronomy and puts a twist on traditional beers. The menu will feature five courses that include a cheese course, a pork belly appetizer, poached shrimp, avocado and grapefruit salad, braised short ribs and a chocolate torte for dessert. Guests can also expect to learn about their drinks as Buffalo Bayou's brewers will be on hand to introduce and discuss each beer.

Designed to provide San Antonio with a spot that goes "beyond your typical pub fare," owners Angelo and Kelly Cavazos opened Hop + Vine in 2016 to showcase a variety of beer of styles from Texas breweries.

Reservations for Hop +Vine's anniversary dinner, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wed. Aug. 9, are $50 and available at hopandvinesa.com or by phone at 210-878-4071.
