Hurricane Harvey: Bar and Restaurant Closures

Closures as of Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

La Margarita, Pico de Gallo and Viva Villa Taqueria are closed and will remain closed Sunday. Mi Tierra will remain open as long as it's safe to do so.

Lowcountry is closed tonight.

The Squeezebox is closed tonight.



Closures as of Saturday at 1 p.m.

Dignowity Meats is closed Saturday.

The Granary 'Cue & Brew is closing at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Closures as of Saturday at 10 a.m.

Dignowity Kolaches will be closed throughout the weekend.

La Panaderia will close both locations Saturday.

South Alamode is closed Saturday.

Chocollazo is closed Saturday.

FruitMix is closed Saturday.


Closures as of Saturday at 8 a.m.:

The House Boozy Ice Cream will be closed for the remainder of the weekend and will post hours on Monday.

Los Barrios, La Hacienda de Los Barrios and Viola's Ventanas are all closed Saturday.

Viva Vegeria is closed Saturday.

Halcyon Southtown will open at 9 a.m. (an hour later than their regular hours) on Saturday.

The Art of Donut is closed Saturday.

Bar America is closed Saturday and will cancel its schedule Mayweather vs. McGregor viewing party.

Closures as of Friday at 8 p.m.:

Both Whole Foods locations — Alamo Quarry and Vineyard Shopping Center — closed at 6 p.m. Follow them on Facebook for updates on when they'll reopen.

The Alamo Heights Farmers Market will not open this Sunday, but will return September 3.

Sighs Vietnamese food truck at 1604 and Babcock Road will close Saturday and Sunday.

Closures as of Friday at 6:15 p.m.:

Bottling Department Food Hall: Closed tomorrow (Saturday) due to weather. This includes The Good Kind, Maybelle's Donuts, Tenko Ramen, Fletcher's Hamburgers and Bud's Southern Rotisserie.

The Boulevardier Group of The Brooklynite, Rumble, The Last Word will close early on Friday night with last call at 11:45 p.m. All three bars will be closed Saturday. Sunday openings for all three are TBD.

Dorcol Distilling Company: The third annual Helado Borracho event has been postponed to Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. with seven chefs competing for best rakia-filled ice cream.

Frank: The Southtown hot dog palace will close Saturday.

Estate Coffee Co.: The Eastside craft coffee shop will close Saturday.

Pearl will be rescheduling all of this weekend’s events, including Pearl Farmer’s Market, Canciones, and the Homeowner fair at Pearl Stable.
